Hello and welcome to our site. My name is Fee and my partner is Kev, we are hobby breeders of Continental Giant rabbits.
Continental Giants come in a variety of colours that include: Opal, White, Agouti, Yellow, Black, Light Steel, Dark Steel and Blue.
It's important to handle your bunny from an early age as they grow to quite an impressive size and you need to be able to handle your bunny safely to administer medication, care and, of course, cuddles.
Continentals make wonderful pets, their laid back, playful nature makes them ideal for younger children where smaller breeds tend to be a little too delicate and highly strung.
Continentals do require some financial outlay as they can't be homed in standard sized cages.
The minimum required size for a hutch is 6'x2'x2'and, personally, we find this to be a little snug. It helps if you have someone who is handy at DIY to help customise your own bunny house.
We have a 9' chicken coop, a brick built shed and a customised bike shed for our buns and they have the run of the garden to excercise in.
